The Person Behind The Centre
Meet Jolly Miss
Not a franchise, not a rotating roster of tutors — one dedicated English educator, teaching every batch herself since 2010.

Founder & Head Educator
16+ years of turning nervous writers into confident ones
Jolly Miss holds an M.A. in English Literature and has spent over 16 years coaching students through board exams. The centre opened its doors on 1 January 2010 in Bokultala, Boltala — and every batch since has been taught personally, not handed off to junior staff.
The approach is simple: meet each student exactly where they are. That means root-level grammar rebuilding for a student who's fallen behind, and rigorous exam-strategy drilling for a student aiming for a 90+ Madhyamik score — often in the same week, in different batches.
Teaching Philosophy
Three things every batch is built on
Concepts before rules
Grammar and literature themes are explained bilingually — in Bengali first when needed — so a rule is understood before it's ever asked to be memorised.
Small enough to notice
Batch sizes stay deliberately small so handwriting, recurring mistakes, and quiet confusion don't go unnoticed until test day.
Marks are a system, not luck
Board exams reward specific answer structures. Every batch — from Class 5 foundations to Class 12 semester prep — is taught with that marks distribution in view.
